Selling a whole collection or an inherited library?

Send us photos of the shelves — no list needed. We look at what's there, value the books that matter one by one, and make one offer for the lot.

  • Reply within 24 hours — Every request is answered by a person.
  • Paid when the books arrive — Once you accept the offer and the books match your photos.
  • Write to us directly — marco@bbourse.ai

How it works

  1. Photograph the shelves (Your phone is enough). Spines readable, plus close-ups of anything you think matters. No list needed.
  2. We look at what's there (We review). We pick out the books that carry the value and value them one by one against recorded sales.
  3. One offer for the lot (7 days to decide). One figure for the whole collection, in writing, with the per-book valuations behind it.

What we buy

  • First editions — Modern and older firsts, ideally in their original dust jackets.
  • Signed and inscribed copies — Signed by the author, inscribed, or with a story of where they came from.
  • Fine and leather bindings — Fine bindings, sets and private-press books.
  • Whole libraries — A collector's shelves or an estate kept together, valued as one.

What we're not the right buyer for

  • Textbooks and old reference books
  • Recent paperbacks and mass-market reprints
  • Book-club editions

Common questions

Do I need to make a list of the books?
No. Photos of the shelves are enough to start, as long as we can read the spines. Add close-ups of any books you think matter — a signature, an old jacket, a fine binding.
Will you make an offer on just a few of the books?
We make one offer for the lot, with the per-book valuations behind it, so you can see where the value is. If only part of it is of interest to us, we say so.
I'm handling an estate. Can you help with probate?
Yes. For whole collections we catalogue and value book by book, and we can provide written valuations for probate where needed.
What if the books turn out different from the photos?
We check the books against your photos when they arrive. If something material was missed, you choose between a revised offer and a free return at our cost.
Is there any obligation to sell?
No. The valuation is free and you have 7 days to decide on the offer. If you decide not to sell, there is nothing to pay.
